Unveil Your Most Beautiful Skin
Erbium Yag Laser
Erbium Yag is a skin resurfacing procedure for the face, neck, chest, and hands to eliminate surface pigmentation and minimize mild to moderate fine lines and wrinkles, and help with scarring. Ablative laser skin resurfacing treatments stimulate new collagen, tighten/tone skin, and destroy damaged or unevenly pigmented skin cells.

An erbium laser is less intense than an ablative CO2 laser (carbon dioxide) in that it causes less surrounding cell damage due to the more effective absorption of the laser waves. Erbium, therefore, has faster recovery times.
What cosmetic concerns does an ablative erbium laser skin resurfacing procedure treat?
-
Fine Lines & Wrinkles: Ablative lasers stimulate collagen to firm and fill fine lines and wrinkles.
-
Facial Skin Laxity: Collagen stimulation may tighten skin.
-
Uneven Skin Tone: Removal of old skin layers exposes deeper healthier skin layers.
-
Uneven Skin Texture: Ablative lasers remove dead skin cells and sebum buildup to smooth skin texture.
-
Rosacea: Damaged skin cells are ablated and new cells are encouraged to grow.
-
Melasma: Hyperpigmented skin cells are removed and healthier cells are exposed.
-
Acne Scars: Ablation of scar tissue encourages new cell growth in the area.
A series of 3 treatments are recommended.
C02 (carbon dioxide) Laser
The Phoenix CO2 laser works by removing the layers of skin that have begun to show the signs of aging. Sun damage, environmental exposure and genetics all contribute to skin that loses its luster over time. The Phoenix CO2 laser eliminates the damaged outermost layers of skin, making way for newer, healthier skin cells.
The CO2 laser uses a concentrated beam of light to remove the dull and damaged outer layers of skin. This treatment can address sun damage, uneven pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, coarse wrinkles, large pores, under eye circles, acne, and acne scarring. The most common areas treated with the CO2 lasers include the face, neck, decolletage and hands. During treatment, the CO2 laser produces a beam with thousands of small shafts of light. These shafts of light penetrate deep into the skin, causing micro injuries. This, in turn, triggers the body’s natural repair system, stimulating collagen and elastin production. While a CO2 laser treatment can be a stand alone procedure, we frequently combine CO2 treatments with other facial rejuvenating for amazing results. The most common areas treated are the face, neck, hands and decolletage.
